i bought this product a few years ago before mp3 players were that popular. i still swear by minidisc rather than mp3 simply because minidisc sound quality supersedes that of mp3 by far.if you want an mp3 player dont buy this. this is for someone who loves sound quality and styling. the thing about this minidisc is that is dependent on your time. if you dont have the time dont buy it. if you do, you will rewarded with being able to put 3 to 4 cd's on one disc with sound quality that is better than any mp3. it has 2 sound presets which make all the difference because you can set treble and bass, to suit what music you're listening to.
it has an amazing battery life also, it has an estimated 85 hours. i can't quote the 85 hours, but it lasts more than a month on an AA battery and it rechargeable battery.
