This receiver paired with the Technics Digital Surround Processor SH-AC500D create a virtual world of audio realism for home theater! The price and performance of this unit was my #1 influence of buying it. It's got dozens of inputs for all your audio/video needs and the state-of-the-art looking display adds a touch of "high tech" to your theater. It would be nice touch if it had on-screen display, but it shows you everything you need to know right on its digital display. It supports the 6 channel Digital Dolby but you will need to fork over an extra 200-300 for the digital processor because it isn't built in. With lots of inputs and superb output, I give this model an A+
