ESP...no, i'm not talking E.T. here. I'm talking about electronic shock protection. And when you are on the road as much as i am, it comes in handy. Since '95 I have collected a massive amount of cd's. So, i needed a discman to take with me on trips and to use in my car. My original discman died after 8 years, impressive as it may seem. But the quality it lacked was a long enough ESP system. My old discman only had a 3-second shock protection. However, the new Philips discman i purchased had a 40-second ESP. I could jog, drive, off-road and do whatever I wanted and the discman would always work properly. No skips, nothing. It was inexpensive relative to the discman i purchased 8 years ago and it was cheaper than all the other comparable discmen of today. It hasnt failed me yet and keeps me and my music together all the time.
