| swire's Full Review: Teac W-790R Single Cassette Deck |
My Toshiba W602, bought at Costco, broke within the first year, eating a tape in the process. The machine no longer will load a tape or run it. It ate a rental tape, causing me huge frustration with the video rental shop.
Warranty only covers labor through 90 days. It will be too expensive for me to fix the machine and I will thus need to purchase a new one.
On-screen labels need to be removed each time tape is started. Otherwise, you will have the running time on the screen during the entire program.
The instruction manual is not very user friendly.
