Poor Communication

I was very disappointed with my experience with Shoplet. I placed an order for a Christmas present,well before Christmas, and received both a letter of welcome and an order confirmation via email. After several weeks, of not hearing from Shoplet, I checked order status in my account, only to find that the item had been back-ordered the day after I ordered it. I was upset because no notice of back-ordered had been sent and it was now too late to order from anyplace else in time for Christmas. I called the company, several times, but had a lot of trouble getting through. I'd either get machines answering, or closed messages. When I finally did get though, It took almost 20 minutes before a live person came to the phone. It was then that I was told that the item isn't back-ordered, but that the item was cancelled by the manufacturer. I am upset, not because the item was back-ordered, or cancelled, but because of their failure to communicate with me so that I could make other arrangements. I firmly believe that if I had not contacted them, I would have waited for my item until next Christmas. No I will not do business with Shoplet again.
