AWFUL customer service - they should be ashamed, "sorry" not enough !

I ordered a digital camera and a number of accessories through WolfCamera.com website. I paid roughly $20 for 1-2 day shipping. After declining an extended warranty on the website, and three OTHER annoying pop-up offers, I was finally able to finalize my order. The website says it offers a 1-2 day delivery rate---they NEGLECT to tell you that you,,,no YOU have to be present, and present picture ID, AND sign for it----NOT someone else in your home, NOT the neighbor---NOPE---ONLY YOU!!!! I went back and looked afterward, and there is no mention of this tight unusual restriction on the delivery, or I would have delivered it to my office. Soooo, FedEx attempts a delivery, you know about 10 a.m., when everyone who has a job is at work---of COURSE they don't tell you this on their website--that might make sense! Soooo I get home, find the hangtag on my door and call FedEx. I ask, "Can I just sign and leave the tag?" I live in a 400K house in a soccer-mom snooty neighborhood--so it is not like we are in the ghetto here. No, of course I can't,,,,I and ONLY *I* must sign in person in the bright of day. Since I work, I am unable to do this--so even though I tell FedEx, I will not be able to be home during the day, they attempt delivery for the next three days... After the above, they say my only option is to pick up the package at the FedEx station....Wondering where that is ? An HOUR drive away from me, Yep, 2 hour round trip just to pick up a package that should have been delivered on my doorstep FOUR days ago.
sooooo, now I am out 4 days mailing time, so much for paying $20 extra to get 1-2 day delivery! I am also blessed with getting to drive 2 hours roundtrip to pick up my OWN package at the FedEx station....and then since it is a Christmas gift for my dad in AZ, I also get to pay overnight shipping ~$30
maybe ? To ship it to him too! NICE Wolf Camera! I will NEVER do business with them again. All they said when I called them was they were sorry, they were sorry, they were sorry, and offered to refund $16 of the shipping---so much for my hassle, and 2 hour drive, waste of my time, and expense to overnight because of their screwup! Just an incredibly sloppy way to do business. I own my own home business and I send and recieve 10-15 packages EVERYday, so I know this is very unusual. I OFTEN have a few thousand dollars of inventory on my porch or at the neighbors house, so this is certainly not the norm. If this is their policy, they should certainly STATE it on their webpage, when you order--not later!
