I'd have to rate my on-line shopping experience with Ritz Camera (via Wolf Camera) as excellent. I wanted to purchase a Canon EOS 300D after much hemming and hawwing between it and the D10. I had not originally planned on purchasing from Ritz/Wolf, but they were running a special with two Sigma lenses, free shipping, and no sales tax for $1,130. I probably could have purchased the parts seperately for less per part, but I saved more than that on the sales tax.
Before I ordered, I made sure to research each of the lenses Ritz was offering and made sure they weren't some crap lens. I also made sure that the product was in stock by calling the order line.
I made my purchase at 3:30 on Monday afternoon (PST), requesting next day. The items shipped Tuesday (which is understandable, given the lateness of my order) and arrived via FedEx before noon on Weds.
All items were as advertised, in working order, not "gray market", and were boxed in original boxes and carefully packed.
My only complaint is that Ritz never provided a tracking number for FedEx.
So, for me at least, shopping with Ritz on-line was a pleasurable and worthwhile experience that saved me money.
