One day little Tommy, a freshman at his high school in Ohio, was sitting in World History, with absolutely nothing to do. So, to rouse his interests, he raised his head, looked around the classroom, and saw this one little boy who had BIG headphones. The...
I bought these headphones a couple of months ago to use on a couple airplane flights. I have been totally happy with them, they offer good performance with an extremely modest price tag. I have since used the headphones in many different situations, from...
Pros: Cheap, comfortable Cons: Watery and inaccurate sound (especially in vocals), too big
I consider myself to be fairly discerning when it comes to sound quality, but not an audiophile because my checkbook won't let me. As a result I don't expect the world from my audio equipment, but I do expect decent, listenable, reasonably accurate...
Pros: Affordable price, good bass, comfortable Cons: Hard to adjust, large size, listening fatigue, hot in warm weather
I've had the Koss UR-20 headphones for approximately 7 months. My initial impressions of the headphones was very positive, but I've found some things I don't like. The Good -------- These headphones sound very good for consumer-level grade ...
Pros: Comfortable and priced right for those just looking for a pair of headphones. Cons: A little "Bassy"
I'm not an audio buff. However, I do enjoy mp3s. I was simply looking for a pair of headphones for my computer to take care of a couple of requirements. Ones that would be comfortable and block out whatever noise was in the room. What I found was that...
Pros: good noise reduction, durable, great price, good bass Cons: none. the perfect basic pair of quality headphones.
Let me start by saying that I am not an audiophile. I can't tell the difference between frequencies easily, and small differences in sound quality overall likely might go unnoticed by me. So I consider myself the typical music lover who wanted to improve ...
Pros: Cheap, light, sound better than cheap-o phones Cons: Not high end = not best quality
These are a great value (got them at buy.com for $12.68) for a decent set of headphones. I won't kid you trying to make you think I'm some sort of audiophile. Actually it's a new word for me, and I only learned of it this week shopping for headphones. ...
Pros: Great price, sounds good, snug fit, lots of padding, big bass Cons: These are some enormous headphones, awkward design.
First of all these headphones sound really good for under $50. I've tried a few others in the past, Sony, Panasonic, etc. and the Koss UR-20's actually sound better than all the others and were cheaper. If you like to here bass when you listen to...
Pros: Great sound with plenty of bass Cons: Large; don't expect to look like the coolest person in town with these
Introduction
So far, I've had these headphones for 6 months. Every day I use them 3+ hours on the way to and from work because they sound better than most car speakers
Pros: cheap and very comfortable - can be worn for hours with no discomfort Cons: washed out sound and big
If you have a refined musical ear, steer clear of these headphones, as they are quite tinny and washed out. I own a pair of $200 Sennheisers that are fantastic, but I forgot to bring them with me on a trip, so I bought these as a temporary substitute....
Pros: Great sound. Comfortable Headband. Cheap Cons: Very big. Headband pops in and out.
I bought these headphones as a rebate deal from Best Buy, so they ended up being free for me. Usually the stuff that comes free with rebate from those stores end up working badly, but this worked great. I use it whenever I have space to carry it, because...
Good Pick If Comfort And Price Are Your Priorities by audio-freak ,Feb 23 '07
Pros: Comfortable, Inexpensive, And Sound Is Slightly Above Average Cons: If You Look A Bit Harder You'll Find Something Better Sounding
Sealed cans at the $20-$40 range usually sound pretty horrid. This is because they are often used with average speakers, and sealing them makes the sound very muddy. The Koss UR20 is not very amazing sounding, and there are better pairs for the price, but they aren't too disappointing. They have very solid bass and mid tones for the price, but sound a bit too chalky, with slightly overwhemling bass and bright treble, that makes the mids sound somewhat distant. Also, sound lacks in detail. Not a good headphone for audiophiles, but casual listreners should be pleased. These are also comfortable and cost $15-$20 in most markets. Though, I'd prefer the Koss UR21, Koss UR15, or Sennheiser HD202, which are all similar in price and style, but have much better sound.
Nuh Uh!..unless you can't get more than $20.00 by hammerogod ,Jun 27 '05
Pros: As comfortable as a set of whole ear headphone will ever be. Cons: Thudding, indistinct Bass with no character...washed out Upper range.
For $15.00 to $20.00 more you can get a set of headphones that actually have some dynamic range to them.
The KOSS UR20 headphones are comfortable but that's about the only recommendation I can give them.
Otherwise they completely lack any real Low Or High Dynamics.
